Founded in 1994, by Bob Fitzgerald and Herb Spector, Fitzgerald Spector represents high quality electrical products, primarily sold through electrical wholesalers for the OEM, industrial, and commercial markets in Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
The entrepreneurial spirit that helped our company grow is the driving force behind our philosophy to work in partnership with our clients and to build long term, professional relationships. Our skilled and knowledgeable representatives are empowered to partner with our customers to provide solutions that meet their changing needs.
Product specialists with a technical orientation, we work with our customers to identify the most effective solution to business problems. Towards this end, the company has a strong commitment to customer education. Periodic e-mail product sheets bring customers up-to-date on relevant products. Frequent Lunch and Learn seminars help distributors, consulting engineers, contractors and others to understand their options. Fitzgerald Spector is also an active industry participant on local and regional levels. Participation with several electrical associations and related trade shows keep us in tune with customer concerns.
Key Personnel
Bob Fitzgerald co-founded Fitzgerald Spector following eight years of sales experience with a large electrical manufacturer and 4 years in electrical distribution sales. Bob earned his BA at Penn State University. Herb Spector brings 35 years of experience with 2 major electrical wholesalers and one major manufacturer
in Philadelphia area. Herb attended Temple University. Abigayle Large, a recent Villanova graduate, joined the Fitzgerald Spector team in June of 2009. Her internships in pr, event planning, and marketing have equipped her with the experience to lead Fitzgerald Spector Inc.’s Marketing and PR efforts.
